CURRICULUM

The Oliver Finley Academy of Cosmetology offers an exceptional education in all aspects of the exciting and lucrative beauty industry. Our goal is to empower our students to become creative, well-trained professionals with cutting-edge expertise. To do that, we offer a unique and innovative curriculum that focuses on both theoretical and hands-on training.

At Oliver Finley, our students receive practical and technical education in their field of specialization, as well as instruction in basic business principles. These business essentials include: building clientele, promoting a business, managing others, and managing finances.

In addition to standard course work, our students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of distinctive programs geared toward improving expertise and confidence. Our students will have the opportunity to participate in photo shoots of their work that they can then submit to international hairstyle magazines, as well as include in their portfolio for potential employers and clients. Advanced students can compete for positions on the Oliver Finley Design Team where they will be involved in the promotion of the Academy through career fairs and hair shows. Students will also have the opportunity to become product representatives, further developing their relationship with hair-care companies.
